5.0a week agoDelicious and authentic Italian fish restaurant in an elegant venue. We were served by Angelo, who was friendly and attentive, and so was the rest of the staff. Food and drinks were at average London prices except for the water which was overpriced. Still worth it for the quality and taste of the ingredients, would definitely recommend

3.0a month agoI walk past this place often and have always wondered why, despite being open for about two years, it doesn’t seem to attract many customers. I didn’t come with high expectations for the food. The interior was quite glamorous — clearly, a lot of money had been invested. However, the female staff member who checked our reservation was expressionless and far from welcoming. We arrived a little early and ended up waiting around 15 minutes before we could order. The male waiter who took our order was humorous and friendly, but oddly enough, our wine kept disappearing — he took it somewhere and brought it back again, repeatedly, without ever offering us an ice bucket. We had no idea why. We ordered quite a lot of food for the number of people, as we were curious about the taste. Starting with the appetisers: the olives were fresh and tasty, and the seafood soup… well, I suppose you could call it a “very healthy” flavour. The courgette was crispy and nice at first, but halfway through, the plating looked messy as the batter crumbs started to show through. If the restaurant were more reasonably priced, I wouldn’t have commented on such minor details. The red prawns were £14 each — I wasn’t expecting a large size, but they were so small you could barely taste them. The clam spaghetti portion was tiny, and the other pasta dish (which looked good in the photos) was just creamy — I can’t even remember its name. My main point is that, considering the price, the presentation, portions, and flavour were all quite disappointing. One of my companions simply said, “It tastes healthy.” Oh — we ordered the truffle mushroom pizza as a starter. It had absolutely no salt, but ironically, it was probably the best dish we had. Now, about the service — one thing really shocked us. A female staff member took away one of our plates while we were still eating, without saying a single word. We were frozen for a few seconds, unsure what had just happened. Why didn’t she ask if we were finished? In the end, whatever points the male waiter earned were lost thanks to the unfriendly hostess and that particular server. None of them smiled — not once.

5.0a month agoMy first visit to Azzurra Chelsea was an absolute delight! I just flew in from Malaysia to see my sister and niece ,and this was a perfect spot for a delicious meal. The food was simply outstanding with every dish tasting incredibly fresh and flavorful. But the real showstopper was the Limone dessert - it was truly amazing and incredibly tasty. Beyond the fantastic food , the staff and restaurant itself were so welcoming and friendly . A special shout out to Peter who was particularly helpful and made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended and will definitely come again.
