Make like a true Parisian at Aubaine, where the dizzying heights of culinary expertise are reached through their stunning breakfast and Brunches.

The floor-to-ceiling windows bask Aubaine in an airy, relaxing glow. The pastel colour palette and reams of bouquets and greenery scattered around put the beautiful surroundings on par with the food on show.

Come for Breakfast to enjoy a range of patisserie, fruits and grains and eggs any way. You can start your day with eggs scrambled, fried, or poached, served with toasted sourdough and a fresh mixed salad, with optional add-ons like grilled halloumi or smoked salmon. If you’re feeling indulgent, the truffle scrambled eggs offer a rich and earthy twist. Traditional favourites like Eggs Benedict, Royale, and Florentine are available, each served on an English muffin with homemade hollandaise sauce and your choice of ham, smoked salmon, or spinach.

Aubaine's All Day Brunch is also a big deal here. Kick things off in style with an aperitif of Aperol or Elderflower spritz. All the classics are here (think Eggs Benedict, French Toast brioche and avocado toast) – alongside some stunning French dishes like Croque Monsieur.

This opulent venue overlooks Hyde Park and is as luxurious as it is beautiful. Just a short walk from the Royal Albert Hall, it’s the perfect location for pre-theatre dining. One stop away from Notting Hill Gate Station on the Central line, Queensway Station is the closest tube stop to Aubaine Notting Hill as it sits adjacent to the restaurant.

Don’t know if it’s really fair to review this place since I only had breakfast and a glass of Sancerre. The lounge entrance to the restaurant looks dated. No one really uses this unused space since the bar is not manned. One would have to press the doorbell device to summon a server. Breakfast was fine, but I truly expected more since this is attached to a Hilton property. Breakfast had both English and continental breakfast options. It’s neither bad or good. I was a little perturbed as on two occasions we were being rushed through breakfast by one of the servers.

Aubaine French Toast is a personal favourite and it offers the type of combination that I personally favour. I refer to it as the traditional french toast. A blend of ingredients that compliment one another. This has been another go-to for me for French Toast.

Service was good and the eggs royale were tasty. The coffee, not so much. The coffee did taste like something out of a machine where you press the button and coffee comes out, rather than a barista made one. For the price and location, coffee really needs to be better. The music was a bit too loud so the atmosphere was not very cosy. With some tweaks this could be a great place but currently it’s so so.
