It was a truly memorable experience to visit such a wonderful venue. The staff were exceptionally friendly, from the ground floor security to all the serving staff. Everyone had clearly been very well trained. The food was very good, but it had obviously been prepared banquet style because it arrived so quickly. Had it been cooked to order it would have taken much longer to arrive. However, that did not diminish from the quality. I will definitely come again!

Great food, but disappointing overall experience We visited Aqua Shard recently and left with mixed feelings. The food was genuinely very good, well-prepared and presented – but definitely overpriced for what it was. We ordered truffles as an add-on, which carried an additional charge, yet they had no noticeable flavour and were thankfully removed from the bill. Service was friendly and attentive in parts, but inconsistent. Drinks were forgotten and later removed from the bill, and starters were cleared away far too quickly, my partner was still eating when they began to clear the plates, which felt rushed and inconsiderate. The atmosphere wasn’t what we’d hoped for. It was loud, busy, and had a sense of urgency rather than a relaxed, luxurious feel. The music was far too loud, making conversation difficult without raising our voices. Despite some items being taken off, the bill still came to £283 for two people without drinks, which feels excessive, even by London standards. Overall, it’s a beautiful setting with good food, but the service and ambiance just didn’t match the price tag.

I just wanted to send a big thank you for the amazing service we received at Aqua Shard. It was such a special experience celebrating my partners birthday there. We truly felt special from start to finish. The Peter pan afternoon tea experience was absolutely great David really looked after us so well, and all the other staff were fantastic too. Thank you as well for the complimentary treats – it made the day even more memorable. I really appreciate the effort your team puts in to make guests feel welcomed and valued. Kind regards,
