Truly Out of This World! We booked this for our birthday lunch, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel special. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond—especially in accommodating my partner’s allergies with care and consideration. The food? Absolutely finger-licking good! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the portions were generous too. And let’s not forget the view—wow. Perched on the 31st floor in the heart of London, the panoramic skyline was the perfect backdrop to an already unforgettable meal. Watching the city from above while dining made the whole experience feel even more special. Thank you. Aqua shard really lives up to its name. We’ll definitely be back!

It is a beautiful view from here. And as long as you are 1-2 people there are lots of seats at tables right by the window. Additionally, in the bar area rather than the dining area there are also tables by the windows and arguably a more picturesque view. A few issues that I had. I booked a “Sunset Dinner” which has a limited menu that “starts at £60 per person”. Nearly everything on the menu adds to this cost. The latest reservation I could get was 18:15 despite sunset being at 21:20. Hardly the “golden hour”. Perhaps the later reservations were taken, but I did make my reservation 6-8 weeks ahead of time. We arrived at 18:00 and they did seat us right away. However at 20:00 the manager informed us that we had to leave our table due to the 2 hour reservation. This despite that our reservation was supposed to be until 20:15 and our having spend 3X the minimum charge, not to mention that we were still finishing our last round of drinks. I will say that he relocated us to the bar area and window seats arguably as nice as the ones we had in the dining area. However 30 minutes later when we finished drinks and used the WC before leaving, we saw that no one had been seated in our original table yet. Why insist that we move? The food was good, not great. Clearly you are paying for location and view not really the food. Additionally, the service by the waite staff was impeccable, which is obviously part of service provided and cost of the meal. The drinks were good and had fun themes.

Our recent Peter Pan afternoon tea at Aqua Shard was an absolutely delightful experience, largely thanks to the wonderful Angela who welcomed us. From the moment we arrived, her kindness shone through, making us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Angela found us the perfect table and we found ourselves chatting away discussing a variety of topics and enjoying a truly friendly interaction. It felt less like a formal service and more like spending time with a warm and gracious host. The food, particularly the pastries and sweets, was a delightful surprise, a cut above the usual afternoon tea offerings, and the sandwiches were classic and satisfying. The presentation was beautiful, stirring a delightful, childlike joy. What truly made this afternoon tea special for us, was Angela’s genuine warmth, making it a truly memorable enjoyable occasion.
