Stopped for traditional English bar experience - beer, fish and chips, chips were 5 stars, fish good, but bit too dry. Service and atmosphere exactly British.

We had an incredible Monday lunch yesterday. The weather was delightful, so we decided to sit outside, and the customer service was outstanding. As soon as we were seated, they promptly offered us water. Since I’m gluten intolerant, the manager—whose name I can’t recall but she was wonderfully attentive—helped me choose what I could eat and even asked about my favorite dish for a summer day. She also recommended the perfect wine pairing for our al fresco meal. The staff was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the service was remarkable, especially given the bustling Monday crowd.

Drinks were fine. They had a deal 2 for £15, but you have to be careful because they have an emblem next to the drinks that are included in this deal. They bring both drinks out at the same time if you participate in this deal. My friend ordered a drink not on the deal menu and they brought out 2, when we brought it to their attention they just proceeded to charge us for it. We didn’t fight it, but just be careful, I definitely felt like this was a situation where tourists could be taken advantage of. Overall drinks weren’t bad and the prices were reasonable. It’s very close to the tower of London as well, so convenient if you’re out touring.
