5.0a month agoAlways a pleasure to dine in such fine comfortable, stylish surroundings and enjoy excellent freshly cooked food. The menu offers a good choice of starter, main course and dessert. Gatelands Farm Calves’ Liver with Onions, Sugar Pit Bacon and mash is consistently the best ever tasted ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ anywhere. The Soufflé, as shown in my 2️⃣ photos is exceptional and difficult 😥 to resist every visit! Finally, the timber revolving entrance door(s) to 45 Jermyn St, has the feeling of a bygone era. It’s wonderful that fine traditional dining can still be enjoyed 😉 in this wonderful restaurant. All staff are always so welcoming, which is a feature anywhere in the Fortnum & Mason establishment.

4.02 months agoAmazing. So far our best meal in London. Every time I find a restaurant that serves liver I want to go. And it exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely delicious. And everything else we had was great flavor wise too: the liver with fried onions, lamb, tartare, leeks and peas and the lemon meringue dessert. For the price, the only comment I would have is that entree plates should be warm so the food keeps hot. The lamb was not hot when it arrived. That is why I am rating it 4.

5.03 months agoWe came here, pretty much exclusively to have some beef wellington, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and the cooking at the table is a really good watch. It is very filling though, we didn't have a starter and barely made it to dessert. Speaking of dessert, the banana soufflé is out of this world, one the nicest desserts I have ever tried. The texture is unreal. Definitely not a cheap place, but the food does live up to its price.
