45 Jermyn Street is a destination restaurant in the heart of St James's, reaching dizzying heights of glamour both with their food and their style.

45 Jermyn is influenced by the old-school glamour of Regency England with burnt orange circular booths providing your own elegant enclave and guests are admitted through a revolving wooden door for a truly luxurious welcoming. The exquisite dining room and bar brings back the golden age of style and service for a contemporary London. Open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 45 Jermyn St serve an innovative combination of familiar favourites and delicious surprises, across a menu inspired by the season and designed for a global palate.

Breakfast here is a unique event and it draws primarily from the best of British produce: Orkney kippers with lemon sit alongside healthy dishes such as baked hen eggs with spinach, nutmeg and ricotta. Pair these with one of the smoothies to kick start your day, or why not treat yourself to a breakfast cocktail for the ultimate indulgence? Their exquisite Sunday lunch is carved table-side every Sunday.

On the intersection of Jermyn Street and Duke Street, the restaurant has Piccadilly on its doorstep, perfect for a post-breakfast stroll.

Even with a hefty price tag, it's a memorable experience with great food. The service is very friendly as well. We had asparagus soup which was incredibly tasty. For mains, it was our first time trying beef wellington, so I cannot compare with others, but it seemed to have been prepared correctly and the flambéed sauce and sides were a great plus. For dessert, the raspberry soufflé was mind-blowing, I definitely recommend it.

What a disappointment. The hype leading up to my booking was something - I booked well in advance for the famous 45 Jermyn St breakfast and purposefully left the airport amidst a really complicated transit to experience the eggs royale. Well, please do yourself a favor and, unless you happen to be walking past, don’t go out of your way. I was dining as a single diner (with hand luggage and airplane hair) and it was the generic experience that is spoken of - hide her and get her out. The website describes long, leisurely brunches alone or with friends. Wrong. I ordered the highly anticipated Eggs Royal (I was STARVING and lo and behold, I thought they were kidding when my bennie was dropped off. One tiny egg on a tiny English muffin with a blob of hollandaise. Thankfully it looked a little more delightful with a bit of cracked black pepper on it! I needed somewhere to stay for the hour so ordered another beverage and although the restaurant was at around - maybe a 10 percent capacity? It wasn’t the most welcoming. Pity.

We came here for our anniversary. We had the fish taco and rarebit as starters, both delicious. We had the beef wellington to share for main, it really was incredible. Was a bigger portion than I was expecting. The gratin potatoes were divine. The service & recommendations we received from Kieren our waiter was second to none. It felt like very genuine recommendations, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. A very likeable guy, who was professional and hard working. Made our evening very relaxed and enjoyable. We would love Kieren to be recognised for his hard work and delightful nature!
