Came here during a Sunday Brunch! Would high recommend booking as it was busy. The food was lovely! Staff were lovely! Definitely would come back here again and they were great with my peanut allergy. Lots of great coffee selections and cocktails that I need to go back and try

I recently visited The Grind Cocktail Bar with a group of friends, and we were all thoroughly impressed with the experience from start to finish. Although known for its cocktails, we stopped by for breakfast — and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The ambiance is warm and stylish, with a relaxed vibe that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. We were greeted by friendly staff who seated us promptly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The service was attentive but never intrusive — just right. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Each plate was beautifully presented and clearly prepared with care. From classic options like eggs and toast to more inventive dishes, everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The attention to detail in the presentation really elevated the meal, and it’s clear they take pride in what they serve. We also had a selection of coffees, and they were spot on — rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. It’s clear that they take their coffee seriously, and it shows. Even though we didn’t try the cocktails this time, the bar setup and menu looked fantastic, and we’ll definitely be returning in the evening to sample those soon. Overall, The Grind is a real gem — a perfect spot to catch up with friends over breakfast or coffee. Everything was top-notch, from the food and drinks to the service and atmosphere. Highly recommended and well worth a visit!

There are moments that stick with you, not because of the setting or the price tag, but because of the way they feel. Meeting up with a girl I barely knew in London turned into one of those moments. We quickly discovered we had more in common than expected, one being our shared love for espresso martinis. So, when we sat down at Grind and spotted it on the menu, there was no hesitation. We looked at each other, laughed, and said, there’s no turning back. Now, coming from South Africa, the price tag did make me blink once or twice, but then I thought, do it for the plot. Because how often do you get to be 21, in London, at Grind, with a stranger who’s about to become a friend? Exactly. You don’t. The drink arrived, and it was everything an espresso martini should be. Perfection in a glass. Smooth, velvety, balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, just right. Topped with those iconic three little beans, it felt less like a garnish and more like a seal of approval. Each sip carried us deeper into conversation, gossip, and laughter, the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known someone for years, even though you’ve only just met. The espresso martini was the perfect accompaniment, bold, slightly indulgent, and endlessly sophisticated, much like the night itself.
