3.0a month agoWe stayed a night at the Sefton Park Hotel and they were very friendly and pleasant, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked very well even for a tall person. A couple of minor niggles were that the room's curtains were not very good so quite a lot of light leaked into the room from the street lighting, affecting my sleep. Also, the breakfast was slightly mixed. My fried egg was served with a broken yolk and, unforgivably if you like coffee, we were served instant coffee. Maxwell House no less and served in a teapot, which was a quirky choice, to say the least

5.03 months agoSefton Park Hotel - A Hidden Gem by the Lake After a lovely walk around the beautiful lake, my family and I decided to pop into the Sefton Park Hotel, and what a fantastic decision that was! This little gem of a hotel, located right opposite the lake, is full of charm and history. We decided to stay for Sunday lunch, and I must say, it was the best Sunday Roast we've had all year. The food was simply fabulous, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Compliments to the chef, Cathy everything was just perfect! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Joan and Shaun, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even gave us a tour of the hotel, sharing stories and showing us the incredible Beatles memorabilia. It was fascinating to learn that the hotel was once the home of Stuart Sutcliffe, the original bassist of The Beatles. My son, Aaron, was particularly captivated by all the history surrounding the place. Overall, our experience at Sefton Park Hotel was wonderful. The combination of delicious food, warm hospitality, and rich history makes it a must visit. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a lovely setting. Thank you for a memorable experience!

5.05 months agoMy Son and I stayed for 3 nights as part of an incredible trip to Liverpool. The hotel itself is lovely. Great history, clean, comfortable and fairly priced. The Garden Patio was a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink before/after heading out. It’s an east walk to the park and many fantastic places to eat and a simple push of a button away from a hired ride into town…or in our case Anfield. The breakfast was (for us, included) and was out of this world good. The best part of our stay was, by far the people. Each staff member we came across was friendly and helpful. Treated my son so well and were kind and patient with our (obvious tourist) inquiries. We were met with immediate attention, a smile and bit of banter. Only there 3 days….felt like we were coming home every time. Loved it. 100 percent will be back (Charlie says thank you for the extra biscuits )
