My wife and I stopped in for lunch on s Saturday... The overall ambiance was nice, but it was fairly busy and loud. There was no wait and we we r e seated right away. The service started well, but deteriorated quickly. Our order was taken, but we surmise that we only wanted water to drink, that we weren't worth their time. The food arrived in a reasonable time. That was the last we saw of the waitress I had their Shepard's pie and my wife had a Burger. Everything was prepared well and tasty, but in my case, just too little portioned.i am not a big eater. But I have to admit that I was still hungry. For the price. I would have expected a little more. ($60 is pretty steep for what we ordered... no drinks, or desserts.)

We opted for the 2-course menu where we felt it offered a better selection. Starters: The pumpkin soup was super delicious - easily a 5-star dish and the calamari was also a hit, perfectly cooked and tasty. Mains: The sea bream was delicious and the beaten steak had great flavor, though unfortunately it arrived undercooked despite a request for well done. That did put a slight damper on things. Service: A special mention to a kind and professional waitress who, though not at fault, handled the situation and turned things around with her positive attitude. A nutritious meal uplifted by kind service despite the minor issue.

The service was excellent, the starter is very interesting, dessert and wine is also quite good. The main has a very attractive sauce, however, I felt like there is much membrane in this steak - making it a little hard to cut through in some spots. Generally speaking I like this experience and will be coming back.
