Luckily we had booked a table as they were heaving. Drinks took a little while but they were very busy and the server was really friendly and attentive. The carvery was the best we've had in a long time. I had gammon and beef, which I'm usually a bit reluctant to try as it can be quite tough, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find it was tender and juicy. Plus we had a voucher for kids' meals for £1 so it was a win-win all round.

Came to Toby carvery to be told not taking any walk ins so I went on line and booked a table for 40 mins time. Place is very under staffed and the staff are overworked. Nowt like trying to reap all the money in, and not paying owt out. Place was a total state plates all over with food on and glasses all over the bar. Maybe if you employ more staff, they could accommodate for more people and maybe clean the place up.

£15 for a plate of food. The roast meat was chewy with fat. Had to wait for the Yorkshire puddings as they weren’t cooked through properly. Had finished my meal before they arrived wasn’t impressed with our experience hence 3 star good selection of veg and positive service understandable waitress. Pay an extra £6 more go to the Hawthorn in Haworth much better experience, but book early.
