Surprised we were able to easily book a table but it was not busy last night 31/10/24) food offer is good quality food menu is slightly limited but better to do some dishes well than offer lots and not do them well. I went for smoking chicken, which is effectively chicken fajitas. Two mains and two pints came to mid £40s which you can’t complain about. Ed did have to ask for the bill twice. Finally, lovely views of Leeds giving chance of some great photographs.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Alchemist, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that tantalized both my taste buds and my senses. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the enchanting atmosphere and the promise of a night filled with delightful concoctions. The drinks at The Alchemist are nothing short of magical. Each cocktail is crafted with an impressive blend of creativity and precision, resulting in a menu that is both innovative and diverse. The balance of flavours was exquisite, and the presentation was utterly captivating, complete with smoke and bubbling effects that added to the overall allure. It's clear that the mixologists at The Alchemist are true artists, taking pride in every drink they create. Equally impressive was the staff, who played a significant role in making the evening memorable. From the moment we were seated, the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the intricacies of the cocktail menu, offering recommendations based on our preferences. Their passion for what they do was evident, and their enthusiasm was infectious, enhancing the overall experience.

This place was fantastic! Fast service and food for a restaurant! The staff were very pleasant the entire time, and when there was an issue with one of the items the party ordered they were very apologetic. We were also served very fast, we spent an hour there (would've spent more time if we didn't haven't have to leave right after the main course). The food was just incredible, my katsu curry was the best I've ever had. The sauce was impeccable and the chicken was amazingly crispy. My plate was entirely cleaned off. I also had a bite of my partners chicken in a basket, which was piping hot and freshly cooked. I would definitely recommend eating here, definitely get the kastu curry or chicken in a basket.
