Chez Mal is a stylish grill restaurant, offering a contemporary dining experience with classic and seasonal dishes. The chefs are passionate about creating high-quality food packed with flavour, with a strong focus on prime grass-fed British beef, hand-cut and expertly matured for the fullest natural flavour.

Sunday Lunch at Chez Mal kicks off with a seriously impressive feast from the Chef’s Table; we’re talking salads, antipasti and seafood. It takes this classic dining experience to a whole new level. Then pick your favouites from a variety of mains, including roasts such as sirloin of beef served with thyme & rosemary Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy. But don’t forget to leave room for one of the delicious desserts. This is the day for quality time, fabulous food and a relaxed social atmosphere, Mal style. Enjoy your Sunday Lunch with one of the creative cocktails for the perfect Sunday indulgence.

Chez Mal Leeds is housed within a stunning Victorian building, which was once the former Leeds City Tramways Office, just 5 minutes from Leeds railway station, in the heart of the city centre.

Overall a nice hotel. Have to take away few points for no complimentary water in the room (not even purchasable from minibar). Rooms nice, clean - well suited for a night or two. Breakfast very good but coffee needs reviewed - better machine and beans needed. Parking not available but the recommended Qpark is very close.

Stayed for 1 night for a gig at the arena. Friendly welcome and check in and the room was lovely with floor to ceiling river views. Very comfortable beds. The only key down was the bathroom ‘with a view’ strangely also with a floor to ceiling window right next to the toilet and quite tatty with flaking paint and chipped tiles. Good value for money overall just needs some attention to detail in the lavs

Brilliant hotel, friendly helpful staff, beautifully decorated. We stayed new years eve and brought our dog. The staff all welcomed him and gave him fusses and he was very comfortable in the room. Leaving one happy pooch and 2 very relaxed humans. Will definitely stay again and I highly recommend this hotel. Even just for the size of the bath tub which I will say was the best bubble bath I've ever had. This hotel thought of everything and we wanted for nothing
