Great summer holiday offer of children eating for £1. We came today when it was very hot working conditions but we were still greeted by very friendly members of staff called Reece at the bar and another called Michael on the entrance desk. Despite the heat they were friendly, polite and very accommodating. They both deserve a special mention. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

Came in with my family today and got looked after by the lovely Jacks. We come here often and we always get put in their section. Always fabulous service and a lovely atmosphere created. Definitely come here for good food, a good environment and family time over a hearty meal.

Visited for brunch to meet friends after Morecambe parkrun. Found the breakfast somewhat disappointing. There was only cooked food (no continental options or even cereals), bread (beside a very inefficient toaster) and jam. Oddly, Yorkshire puddings and gravy were also available! Cons: They seemed to have a problem keeping up the supply of some food items. Staff were pleasant and apologetic, citing "an issue with the oven" but the eggs and baked beans were not topped up when more meat items eventually appeared, and even the butter portions ran out. There are no refillable juices (refillable cold drinks are the same as the regular menu - sodas and Robinson's cordial). Drinks are charged separately from the food, which bumps up the price. Pros: The cooked food was reasonably hot and the plates provided were warm, which was a nice touch. When our friends had waited for the pancakes to be topped up but somehow missed them, a server brought a plate of 3 with syrup directly to the table after the buffet had ended. The place looked clean and well maintained. The food that we did have was good and the restaurant seemed spacious despite quite a lot of customers. Another customer pointed out that there are better deals (e.g. kids eat for £1) if using the app.
