Just Incredible service from Jake and Maia, both were very attentive and cared for us our whole meal. And for the Sunday dinner it was served Incredibly hot and fresh. A very well done to the staff of the Alma. Apparently yet again another incredible meal and service from looking at reviews before. Very impressed. We will be back!

Went for lunch with friends. The grilled haddock was amazing. Top quality fish that was cooked really well on a bed of creamed spinach. We couldn’t fault the service or the friendliness of the staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

We like to stay because it's easy to get to and we can walk into the town which we always do. The views are great and the rooms nice. We went on a Sunday because it's cheaper but it meant that several menu items weren't available. We didn't know 48 hours notice was needed for oysters. The room toiletries have been downgraded somewhat. Breakfast was freshly made and plentiful. We were happy with what we got for what we paid. Peak Saturday night rates are now out of our budget reach sadly.
