    We came here for our 27th wedding anniversary. Our first time here. Very different from anything we’ve experienced in Australia. The decor was amazing, we loved where we were sitting. Rhea, our server, was very attentive and ensured we were well looked after. We couldn’t fault her service. The food was beautiful, although the scallops and prawns were overcooked. Still the flavours and presentation were amazing and we enjoyed our meals. We were given a complimentary celebration dessert which was delicious.

We dropped by in the afternoon for a small meal and some drinks. 🍹🥗 The interior is charming and vibrant, filled with flowers, golden details, and that signature Ivy style. It’s a lively spot, though a bit on the loud side due to how busy it gets. Since we didn’t reserve, we were seated at the bar, but the experience was still enjoyable. Drinks were lovely and the food was good, perfect for a quick but elevated afternoon break. If you’re in Kensington and looking for a glamorous yet casual spot, The Ivy is a solid pick. 🌸✨🍴

    Spontaneously we decided to have dinner and were seated in the heated garden. The ambiance is very pleasant, the service is friendly, and the dishes are excellent and prepared with attention to detail. A quick tip: the starter shouldn't be served together with the main course. I highly recommend this brasserie.
