Stopped for lunch and had a wonderful large meal. Each dish was loaded with flavour. The mushroom toast was a little too salty, but still delicious. The service was kind and attentive. It took us a little while to be sat, as we couldn’t see any employees, but once at the table we had staff members in our view at all times and they were very attentive with every table around us as well.

We ate here last night for my daughter s birthday. Arrived at 7 0 clock shown to table left for 30 minutes then asked if we had ordered any drinks NO asked if we wanted drinks, decided then to order food. Starters did not come to well after 8 0 clock. Only 2 staff on doing everything, service was very poor and the food not wonderful with small portions. Very disappointed with the evening and won't be going back again. Prefer to spend good money on good service

Room was compact, nicely decorated, bit worn in places. Lovely bathroom. Bed was firm, which of course is a preference. Coffee machine in room was a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, fantastic bacon and delicious eggs. 80 quid for our room with breakfast.
