This charming French inspired bistro is located in the heart of Cirencester and is open from breakfast right through until dinner, catering for a Bruncher's every need.

Their Breakfast menu is an extensive mix ranging from light options such as a simple croissant or fruit salad to cooked breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict and continental twists such as Crepe Complète with shaved Gruyere cheese. Côte follow the mantra that breakfast is better when boozy and you can upgrade to add a mimosa and Bloody Mary

Their French Sunday lunch menu is an equally eclectic affair, created with a unique twist exclusively for two to share. Choose from corn-fed marinated chicken or sirlion steak (16oz), served with Comté & thyme ‘Yorkshire puddings’, crispy confit potatoes, gratin Provençal, tenderstem broccoli, lemon & herb aioli and peppercorn sauce.

Located right in the heart of the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, you can take a stroll through the charming lanes of this market town or enjoy authentic French cuisine as a pre-theatre treat – Barn Theatre is only a ten minute walk away.

They do have a tendency to get busy so book your Breakfast, Brunch and Sunday Lunch experience at Côte Chester now.

Had a lovely breakfast of eggs Benedict, juice and coffee on a special deal the restaurant had which we didn’t know about but was told was better value - love that - having customers benefiting instead of upselling everything. Absolutely delicious! Friendly, welcoming staff. Very pleasant surroundings too. Will return.

Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and recommendation for main course was perfect. French onion soup was not what I expected/hoped for - cheesy toast was served on the side instead of baked on top of the soup, which seemed microwaved. The sous vide duck was incredible. The creme brulee dessert was passable, but again lacked the "I've been freshly made today" fresh, creamy, crunchy-caramel-topped heaven that it can be. I'm glad I tried one of Cote's chain of French-style restaurants, however, for the price, next time I would find a genuine, independent French establishment.

A lovely place for a family meal. Food was impressive - it might be a chain, but it had an authentic French feel, souffle served properly hot, but not greasy. Cheese plate for dessert good selection and ample portion. Fish stew fresh and hot. Plenty of steak options. Nice cocktails including nonalcoholic options. Service attentive but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend.
