Actually the worst restaurant/pub experience we had in the UK so far; maybe we just don't get the concept of a carvery really, but everything was far too fast-foody for us and very "American"; we were only allowed to sit outside with our dog and the person who seated us said it would be obvious we couldn't take our dog inside - in our experience we basically were able to take our dog inside almost everywhere though; the outside area was very dirty with lots of leftover food from the people before us and there was literally no service at all; serving ourselves at the carving it took about 30 minutes in a queue, although we didn't even have meat, but veggie roast, which we needed to serve ourselves too. If you're looking for quantity rather than quality it might be your place, because you'll be able to refill your drink as often as you want and stuff your plate with lots of vegetables, but for us it was a very stressful and chaotic experience - in our dozens of visits to the UK we're definitely used to way better and friendlier service, especially for this price, which is 50% higher just because it was a Sunday.

Unparalleled service from our serve Dean! He thought of literally everything before we had, was supper attentive towards our 2 year old and generally went above and beyond. It’s very rare to receive that level of customer care in this day and age. The chefs were lovely and provided a great service. 141

It was okay, the layout was a little werid, I was seated on the left side of the carvery and to get to the carvery I had to walk all the way around. My partner wanted mint sauce but they were all out. There was a lot of flies in the restaurant as well. But the food was good.
