We had a Toby Carvery today and the food was amazing! The beef was cooked to perfection, the cauliflower could’ve been cooked slightly more if I’m being picky, but overall an amazing dinner. We had a good service from Kaya who was very polite and friendly too. Would recommend. Pudding was 10/10 too!

Came here with a kids eat gor £1 voucher from a Facebook advert. We booked a table for 7 pm. We sat in a booth close to the servery. Our timing seemed perfect because there wasn't a queue to collect our carvery. Kaya, our server, was friendly, polite, and very efficient. (Raffle ticket number 121). Adult carvery on a week day was £10.99 and in the end, we spent a total of £38. Drinks pushed the price up, and the cider was £4.50, which isn't bad, apple and orange juice were £3.25 and JTO was £3.50. But overall, spending less than £40 in this day and age for a family meal is a bargain.

Do you know, I love to write good reviews. So, well done the young woman who was carving the meat: you smiled! Which puts you ahead of the other three staff members I saw. They looked as though they didn't want to be there. Perhaps they didn't? The dark-haired waitress lost interest in me when I wanted to eat in the bar area that wasn't oppressively warm. She referred me to the bar, where the barman was working hard serving pints. "Are you all right?" he said when it was my turn. I ordered and paid and he walked off, leaving finishing the pulling of my pint to guess who? The same waitress who had been so quick to pass me over to the barman! The food was OK but it wasn't service with a smile. I won't be rushing back.
