Hotel Du Vin Glasgow is a prestigious enclave in the heart of the city where the Breakfast and Sunday Lunch celebrates traditional British cuisine.

The stunning Georgian surroundings of One Devonshire Gardens provides an idyllic backdrop to Breakfast and Sunday Lunch.

Try the Country Table – their twist on a continental spread – or go for a la carte options including banana & Nutella pancakes, Brioche French Toast and savoury treats ranging from avocado toast, Eggs Benedict and an old-school whole grilled kipper with lemon and parsley.

Indulge in a beautiful Sunday Lunch feast at Hotel Du Vin for just £29, to include an amuse bouche, starters such as chicken liver parfait and black pudding with Dijon potato, followed by mouth-watering tender roasts. We recommend the roast rump of Scotch lamb for an authentic Celtic taste, which comes with spelt, wild mushrooms and a rich red wine jus.

To finish, try the lemon parfait with strawberry or a decadent sticky toffee pudding.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel du Vin in Glasgow's west end. This is Glasgow's swanky G12 neighbourhood which has so much to offer. It's a couple of miles out of the city centre but perfectly located for the Independent shops, art dealers, trendy bars, local restaurants, the University and the Kelvingrove & Huntarian Museums. The building has a huge wow factor with its impressive grand Victorian mews appearance. Inside the hotel it's luxurious yet comfortable. The lounge, bar and restaurant are all gorgeous and perfect for a romantic hideaway, a business trip or a family gathering. The rooms are all different and named after wine growers or estates, a theme which runs throughout the property. The designers have worked with the building's original features. They've brought together opulent fabrics, rich wall papers and modern pictures alongwith leather sofas, soft lighting and interesting objects d'art. The beds are super comfortable and amenities first class, from the tea & coffee facilities, snack selection, mini bar and toiletries. The team are well attired, well trained and perfectly low key. Breakfast was really good and I enjoyed the best scrambled eggs I've tasted in a very long time. Overall, One Devonshire Gardens is a must stay if you're seeking something really special. It's just on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre's bustling streets yet far enough to be a leafy suburb.

Stayed in a suite just along from reception. Room lovely with massive bathroom (down the stairs), comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Only thing i didnt like was the bath in the bedroom but knew about it before we signed up. Very nice breakfast, all staff spot on. Hotel is a bit out from the city centre but closer to some attractions so suited us. Only down side (and why 3 not 5 stars) was on the second night there was a gathering/party in the room next to reception that kept us awake till about 1 in the morning. Would i go back-yes but only to a quieter room

Absolutely outstanding boutique hotel which was originally five separate houses. Staff are all amazing and super friendly, the bar and restaurant offer a range of good quality wines and traditional Scottish dishes and the rooms are spacious with high ceilings and large bay windows. Genuinely one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and we will definitely return if in the area again but next time will make sure we stay longer.
