At One Devonshire Gardens by Hotel du Vin Glasgow, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’. Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires

Hotel Du Vin Glasgow is a luxury boutique hotel set in a tree-lined Victorian terrace in the fashionable West End. Enjoy Afternoon Tea in the elegant restaurant, with oak panelling and glittering chandeliers.

Stayed in a suite just along from reception. Room lovely with massive bathroom (down the stairs), comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Only thing i didnt like was the bath in the bedroom but knew about it before we signed up. Very nice breakfast, all staff spot on. Hotel is a bit out from the city centre but closer to some attractions so suited us. Only down side (and why 3 not 5 stars) was on the second night there was a gathering/party in the room next to reception that kept us awake till about 1 in the morning. Would i go back-yes but only to a quieter room

Exceptionally good hotel. Lovely quick and painless check in. Beautiful and spacious room. A good location, everywhere we wanted to go only a £10 uber away - or a 10-15 min walk. Slightly noisy however when staying in a city this is normal, lovely comfy bed so l went out like a light. Excellent bar and bar service, one young lady taking care of everyone making cocktails and clearing up we were well looked after with a lovely fire and comfy sofas. The restaurant looked superb unfortunately we didn't have time to experience it. The only negative is the breakfast service wasn't up to scratch, both Sunday and Monday morning it was lacking in attentiveness, plates were not cleared quick enough and coffee was not replenished in what I would consider an acceptable timeframe (or at all). The offering was superb though with a very good vegetarian breakfast offered (thank you chef). Amazing decoration, beautiful rooms, incredible stained glass windows. Highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful weekend visit.

Staying here has been an absolutely joy. The food downstairs is second to none and the staff are the friendliest, most knowledgable humans I have spoken with in Glasgow. They have fantastic recommendations and are quite cheery. Robert and Christopher are two amazing people. I don't want to leave. The food was incredible as well. The beef Wellington may be the best meal I have ever had.
