Let me start by saying that the staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived and epitomised service with a smile, that was the best bit, the building however looked like it wanted to fall down, the outside made it look shabby and it didn't get better as you walked through the door, the place looked dated and in need of a major refit, my one and only photo is a generalisation of the stare of the inside, the food was meh at best, we opted for a Carvery, it was lukewarm to the point you were burning your hands on the utensils used for serving food that wasn't as warm, most of it I'm guessing was freezer to microwave as it tasted bland and devoid of taste, the staff were definitely the best bit of this establishment.

We popped in on a Thursday afternoon so it was quite quiet. The veg wasn't as fresh as it could have been but that's because it wasn't super busy which is understandable. Although all still very tasty. Karen our server was lovely though. She was on her own on the floor. But even offered to fill our refillable glasses for us which was lovely. Above and beyond service for what is normally a "help yourself" option. We could not fault Karen. She was fabulous.

I visited the carvery today for lunch with my grandpa Gerald and was served by a lovely lady called Karen. The food was hot, tasty and totally filling. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely lunch
