The Queen's Arms was fantastic for our group of 4. It's a good idea to get reservations as it always seems to be busy. We sat in a church-box-like little "room" with its own half door. Our waiter staff was fantastic, friendly, and informed. We had the onion rings and loaded fries as appetizers, and they were both absolutely fantastic. The loaded fries are loaded with, among other things, barbecue beef or pork. It was delicious! For our main, we had the hamburger, the fish and chips, and the Mac cheese. The fish and chips were quite a large piece of very well prepared, Haddock. All were phenomenal, and I'd recommend any of them and would definitely recommend the Queen's Arms.

Wonderful sharing roast.. all included with no extra cost for cauliflower cheese unlike most. Lovely medium rare beef and super tasty. However you do get charged for extra gravy, however well worth the extra £2 Also Yorkshires well worth the extra £1 each! Everything cooked homemade. One of best roasts you can get in a pub.

Based on the reviews and photos, this was one of the first pubs we tried in Edinburgh. It did not disappoint. We loved the cozy atmosphere and book-lined walls. The bar staff were all very nice as well. We enjoyed the fun 80s British pop playing in the background. We recently saw it was picked as one of the “cozies” pubs in the city and thought that recognition was spot on.
