Isn’t it lovely when you come across great things by accident! Well, now I’m spoiling it for you because I’ve let the cat out the bag (apologies to those to whom this means nothing!) And with expectation can come disappointment so… I hope I haven’t blown it but… the turmeric, ginger, carrot juice was amazing (still is, not quite finished it… oh probably would have by time you’re reading this though) The veggie power bowl had my mouth watering at the menu and the presentation when it came was great and the flavours… yes! Get in there! They’re a tastebud treat. I didn’t really eat the pita as wasn’t necessary for me and trying to limit my carbs (you didn’t see the chocolate croissant and cinnamon swirl I had on the train up to Edinburgh so you can just take my word for it!) and like most people my body doesn’t do too well with wheat products (an unfortunate childhood on Senekot tablets and cereal (yuk!), multiple blood tests, enemas … I do hope you’re not eating … jaundice, liver damage etc. long before anyone ever seemed to know anything about food intolerances!) Any way… plenty more on the menu for meat eaters and veggies and vegans alike and whilst I can’t vouch for every dish, I get the feeling you won’t be disappointed (unless I’ve just ruined it for you) Finally an old Slavic proverb on the wall to carry in your heart… “A house is not beautiful because of it’s walls, but because of its cakes”

We got brunch here on a Monday and it wasn't too busy. Staff were friendly and it was quick service. There's alot of choice on the menu, which is nice, and a couple of vegetarian options. The drinks were nice, but were a bit cold, and I overheard another table saying the same thing. Food was tasty and okay price. Location is good, a little further away from the main part of Edinburgh, and I think it's a more student area. Spacious inside, and toilets were clean. The cooked breakfast was nice, beans were a bit dry.

Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've EVER had! I got the wild mushroom toast and let me tell you, if you get the chance to go there do try it, it's wonderful! The bread is crispy on the outside but super soft on the inside which was simply a dream! And obviously everything on top of it, mushrooms, garlic oil, spinach, the poached egg... very tasty and fresh! Loved every bite! Extra points for their apple juice, which apparently was homemade! Never had one before and it was so good! The staff is also very nice! I complimented them for this exquisite breakfast, we made some small talk and I felt very welcomed! I definitely recommend!!
