Modern interiors set within the converted arches next to Edinburgh Waverley station (car park/Market Street side) A contemporary bar downstairs with a sleek restaurant upstairs. We were walk-ins on a friday night but they found us a table within 15 minutes. Super friendly waitresses (Ayesha served us and was brilliant!) Sharing Steak was beautifully presented but a bit under seasoned, which was easily remedied with salt and pepper. MIL loved her burger. Sticky toffee apple cake was the winning dessert. Friendly swift attentive service and a vibrant atmosphere. Perfect arrival meal into Edinburgh

Not a bad place with good, decent steaks, cocktails, and sides. The atmosphere is really cool, especially with the hanging sofas on the ground floor and a nice view of the Governor’s House and Calton Hill from the first floor. However, my last experience here was quite disappointing. We were seated at a table near what I assume was the kitchen upstairs, and staff kept carrying bags of waste past us. The smell and sight weren’t exactly appetizing. On top of that, service was extremely slow - we waited a long time just to have our order taken, and it felt like we were forgotten, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded (only about three tables were occupied). Plus, the music was too loud, making it really hard to communicate. I might give this place another try because the food was decent, and I’d still recommend it for that. But I really hope they remove that table.

This was a wonderful place. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The meal was fantastic. I had the sirloin and half a lobster. Just delicious. My only observation was the beer selection was very very limited. And by that I mean 2. And neither was that great. Otherwise a good expierence.
