I stopped by for dinner here today without a reservation. The staff was kind enough to ask me to wait, and eventually, they found me a table. I ordered the risotto and the chicken burger. The risotto featured decent chunks of mushroom and chicken in a creamy sauce, while the burger came with a panko-fried chicken breast and mayonnaise. Unfortunately, the food took around 40 minutes to arrive, possibly due to the restaurant being busy. Overall, the food was average, and I’d consider this place just okay.

I’m a frequent visitor of Carluccio’s because it’s super convenient, especially when on a gluten free diet. They’ve got an extensive gluten free menu with great options, making it hard to choose. Can definitely recommend the seafood pasta, seafood risotto and the pasta carbonara. Every meal I’ve had so far has tasted great. The staff is also super friendly. It can be a bit busy at times but so far they always had a spot for 2 walk-ins.

When looking for something different from pub food, this is a refreshing change of pace. After an all-day tour, we popped in late, requesting a table for two. They were quite accommodating, even with only 20 minutes to close. We started with a Peroni, red wine, and garlic mozzarella focaccia. Skip the Peroni and grab a glass of wine, but do NOT sleep on the focaccia. It was phenomenal! For our meals, we chose the lasagna and the Penne Giardiniera. The lasagna was the perfect comfort food layered with sauce, cheese, and beef. The tomato sauce was smooth, with just the right texture, not too many tomato chunks, and the béchamel sauce was the perfect complement. I would have liked one additional layer of baked mozzarella on top. The penne was light and flavorful, featuring fun spinach balls, a unique touch we highly recommend trying. The best part? The fresh grated cheese! Even our waiter stopped by to ensure we received this service, which added to the experience. Unfortunately, we were too full to enjoy dessert this time, but we’ll save room on our next visit!
