    Food was tasty, but meat portion was miniscule. Even my vegetarian friend was embarrassed for me. I got a couple of scraps from joints that were almost depleted. If it's a Carvery then surely the emphasis is on the meat? Staff were pleasant, as always. Breakfast is a much better deal; at least you can help yourself to bacon and sausages. On the whole not a bad experience, but they could have brought out fresh joints well before the ongoing ones completely disappeared.

    Great staff and very friendly. Lovely roast, all the meats were great and loved the leak and potato slices (gorgeous) and the mash. Nice gravy and standard stuffing. Average roast potatoes. Nice pork cracking. Toby’s in the North are way better than the south.

    Food lovely. Service slow, had to get our own cutlery. Felt a bit rushed to leave at the end as were given the bill as soon as we finished dessert and before we asked for it. Also felt a bit pressured into leaving this review as the waitress stood and watched and told us to mention her name - Demi
