The Forge works in collaboration with Aubrey Allen, a third-generation family business and suppliers to the Royal household to serve you an indulgent, luxury Sunday roast.

Priding themselves in the quality and longevity of the quality of their meat, Aubrey Allen only select the top 4% of the best beef cattle in the British Isles and support British Farmers.

The beef is finished in specially designed locked in dry ageing rooms for a minimum of 28 days to enhance flavour and tenderness. Their beef is the most ethically produced meat, allowing diners at The Forge to eat sustainably reared meat with a clear conscience.

Available every Sunday from 1pm - 8:30pm, The Forge serves their new Sunday menu, now with a twist. Enjoy a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings, served as a sharing board, perfect for family-style dining!

    Sunday Roast at The Forge, food took a little while to come out, but when it came was easily one of the best roasts we have had in Chester. I had steak - which was served with roast sides. The dirty mash served with bacon jam is incredibly tasty, make sure you give this a go. The roast alone was £21, which is fair given the quality.

    Coffee stop. Best I've ever had. Lovely furnishings in lounge area and nice variety of Jazz music. Clean and well kept place with staff that look clean, hygienic and sensible. Place did not look open, but lunch or dinner service weren't on. It is structurally part of a hotel. I want to visit here again. I'd be extremely happy to dine here too.

    Menu is not explained well. Other than a sirloin or ribeye, all the steaks are by weight for 2 to share. Steak was well cooked. Chips were reconstituted potato fries. Nowhere near as nice as triple cooked fries. Sauce was pleasant. Service was OK but not the most attentive. Overall a nice meal but not up to other premium steakhouses such as Gaucho.
