Toby Carvery - Carmarthen

Great place in the centre of Carmarthen. Extremely good value and great food with a relaxing atmosphere. staff are top notch. For vegetarians there is an option for you if you are going for the carvery, It's a tart. It's not obvious how you go about getting this as it isn't explained anywhere I could see. On my first visit I asked for it from the server at the carvery line and he had no idea what I was talking about. Basically you place that order with the staff who seat, it will be delivered to your table, in the meantime time you can join the queue and load up on non meat options. Apart from that this place is excellent 👌🏻

Extremely disappointed! I had informed the supervisor I had a mushroom allergy and he was very friendly and responsive. We then proceeded to the counter to collect our food. I ordered beef and turkey, walked over from the vegetables to find the tongs were to hot to handle and there was a used dirty tissue in the carrot section. Needless to say I did not want to eat any carrots. I informed a member of staff and the supervisor on shift he tried to make the excuse the tissue was from on top of the counter and was used when the tongs were to hot (if only I had known this is why tissues are on top) however, this was not the way the tissue was folded. I can only describe it as a used tissue from when someone had blown their nose! Vile! We paid for the food begrudgingly and left. I can honestly say I will never return to this filthy Toby again! Avoid at all costs!

We popped in for a cheeky Sunday lunch on a Monday! My wife has an allergy and the manager couldn’t be more helpful, really thoughtful and considerate. Food was really good too and loads of choice! Really pleased and a great price too.
