The Ivy Cardiff is part of The Ivy Collection, which remains true to the values of the original Ivy restaurant, famous for its celebrity clientele and superior dining experience. Interiors feature sumptuous Art-Deco detail, marble floors and striking burnt orange banquettes.

Breakfast at The Ivy is a relaxed yet sophisticated experience. Start off with a choice of refreshing juices or coolers while you choose from a range of Breakfast options including The Ivy Full English Breakfast or one of the light and healthy plates. The Breakfast menu also includes a range of teas and coffees.

Brunch is a more decadent affair with starters such as the Roasted Scallops in a creamed spinach, truffle and parmesan emulsion followed by the Lamb and Leek Sausages in a red wine sauce as a main course. For an extra indulgent experience, why not enjoy a cocktail from a Watermelon & Strawberry Bellini to a Salted Caramel Espresso Martini or a glass of Champagne with your Brunch?

The Ivy Sunday Roast is served with all the trimmings. Indulge in rosemary roasted potatoes, green beans with almonds, carrot and swede mash and a Yorkshire pudding finished with a red wine gravy.

    We came here to celebrate my sister starting a new job, and we can't fault the wonderful service we received, especially from our server Niall (I hope that's how you spell his name!) We had been here once before and it's the perfect place to celebrate special moments with friends and loved ones. The decor is to die for, the lighting and atmosphere perfect, and we felt very looked after the entire time. The food arrived quickly and was all absolutely gorgeous. I had the plant based Malaysian curry (lovely), but it was the chocolate bomb dessert that really stood out for me - heavenly! They also bought out a profiterole with a chocolate saying "Congratulations" for my sister, which really exemplifies the type of service that goes above and beyond. My partner would have preferred more variety when it came to the vegan desserts (that aren't just fruit or sorbet), but all in all I highly recommend The Ivy for a memorable time with faultless service. P.S. The women's toilets here are the best toilets I've ever been in!!!!! You'll know when you go in. 🌹😊

    Happy with the extensive choices of food here. Not had a bad meal and could say the Ivy provides a holistic experience. Gorgeous decor with real plants everywhere, so aesthetically pleasing. Service is usually great and staff are welcoming and helpful. Recommend the Sunday roast which was brought about not too long ago. Love the selection of tea and great for a quick stop or meet up with friends. The menu changes often so there’s always something new to try

    What a lovely end to our little trip. We, on a whim, went to the ivy for breakfast. Luckily, there was not a heavy dress code for the morning, and quite relaxed. The decor is gorgeous maximalism. The staff were extremely attentive. I did have to wait for my flat white but it was nice once it arrived. My partner said his orange juice was one of the best he's tasted. Very fresh. The breakfast was very substantial and well flavoured. The only criticism would be that the sausages could have been better quality. What a lovely morning. Thank you.
