📍 Pergola on the Wharf, Canary Wharf After seeing Pergola all over my feed—lush interiors, rooftop vibes, and bold plates—we finally booked in for an evening visit. And yes, booking ahead is essential—this place gets busy, and for good reason. 🍽️ What we ordered: • Korean-Glazed Flat Iron Steak with Yuzu Hollandaise & House Pickles • Sweet Potato Fries • Korean Pulled Beef Bao Buns with Kimchi Slaw & Gochujang Sauce • Camden Pale Ale • Diet Coke 🥩 The Korean-Glazed Flat Iron Steak was cooked beautifully—tender, smoky, and packed with flavour. The Yuzu Hollandaise added a citrusy zing that cut through the richness perfectly, and the house pickles brought a bright, crunchy balance. The Korean Pulled Beef Bao Buns were equally epic: pillowy-soft, filled with slow-cooked, spicy-sweet beef, creamy kimchi slaw, and a generous drizzle of gochujang sauce. And the Sweet Potato Fries? Crispy, golden, and dangerously snackable. Drinks were simple but hit the spot—Camden Pale Ale for a hoppy kick, and a Diet Coke to keep it classic. 📝 What I liked? The evening atmosphere was vibey—think fairy lights, chilled music, and a buzzy crowd without feeling chaotic. The space is airy and beautifully designed, with greenery everywhere and waterfront views if you time it right. Food came out quick, portions were solid, and every dish delivered on flavour. 👎 What I didn’t like? Honestly, not much. It’s definitely a spot you plan for—not ideal for walk-ins—but the payoff is worth the booking. Prices reflect the location and setting, but the quality backs it up. ✅ Would I go back? Absolutely. I already want to try more of the menu—and the cocktails next time. It’s a perfect mix of relaxed and refined, and ideal for an after-work treat or a casual date night. 🔍 Note: First visit review—excited to return and try more soon. To begin with, at the front the security asked to check my bag which it wasn’t a problem till he decided to get my wallet and started removing cards, money.. which I thought it was way too much, I really didn’t like it and he should have mentioned the reason why the thorough search. The food had everything to be great, the Korean chicken burger sounded delicious, weirdly it arrived 10min after ordering, it wasn’t good it wasn’t warm. Music was good but a bit too loud when trying to have food and a conversation. The waitress was nice

The Sunday menu had limited options of food but overall I loved the experience. The meal we had was tasty and filled us up. The prices are relatively cool for such ambience. Love the beautiful floral designs and the waiters were very friendly as well. I will definitely visit again. FYI- There’s a compulsory service charge added to the bill.
