Koocha showcases the best in Persian and Middle Eastern cooking with a love of plant-based ingredients for everyone – vegans and non-vegans – to enjoy. Koocha offers colourful, creative and filling food, that's brimming with flavour

Koocha was founded in 2018 as Bristol’s first totally vegan restaurant – a plant pioneer, leading the way for animal-free cuisine across the city. What really sets them apart is the big, unexpected and delicious spices and flavours from Persia and the Middle East that infuse every dish in the bountiful menu.

The food is as fresh as it comes, sourced locally and sustainably, and everything is made from scratch. And whether you’re vegan or not, even the most devout meat eaters have declared their love after a meal at Koocha.

Enjoy a bottomless brunch at Koocha, with any large plate and free flowing Prosecco for two hours. On a Sunday, visit for the Koocha Sunday Lunch, featuring juicy marbles wellington with mushroom & chesnut duxelles, served with parsnip hummus, saffron & rosemary roasties, maple & zaatar glazed carrots, broccoli, parmesan smashed sprouts, Yorkshire pudding, sausage stuffing and red wine gravy. It's the ultimate vegan roast.

Located in Bristol, Koocha Mezze Bar is just down the road from Montpelier Station.

Absolutely amazing food, everything was delicious, 6 mezze dishes left us feeling stuffed, still managed a dessert though. A truly wonderful experience. The espresso martini, made by Trinity, was the best espresso martini I've ever had 😁

All the dishes are spectacular. I specially liked the chicken brochure (which tastes just as chicken and has a sweet sauce) and the pistachio cheesecake (sweet enough and with an equilibrated mixture of flavours). We loved it so much, to the point that we returned the day after. The dip made with cashew, spinacs and basil was also tasteful. Can also be ordered with a roasted sweet potato and crispy chickpeas.

I’m not vegan or even vegetarian, but come here because the food is so interesting, and the variety of textures and flavours is amazing. A really balanced and imaginative menu. The service was very friendly and efficient, and it has nice vibe, in a very urban sort of way. The meze style means you can select several dishes (3 each more than enough) and share, as it is well worth trying a taste of each dish. They are all so different. Thoroughly recommend
