The Ivy in The Lanes is part of The Ivy Collection, which remains true to the values of the original Ivy restaurant, famous for its celebrity clientele and superior dining experience. Interiors feature sumptuous Art-Deco detail, marble floors and striking burnt orange banquettes.

Breakfast at The Ivy is a relaxed yet sophisticated experience. Start off with a choice of refreshing juices or coolers while you choose from a range of Breakfast options including The Ivy Full English Breakfast or one of the light and healthy plates. The Breakfast menu also includes a range of teas and coffees.

Brunch is a more decadent affair with starters such as the Truffle Tagliolini followed by the Blackened Cod Fillet served with a citrus-pickled fennel, wakame seaweed and a yuzu & herb sauce. For an extra indulgent experience, why not enjoy a cocktail from a Watermelon & Strawberry Bellini to a Salted Caramel Espresso Martini or a glass of Champagne with your Brunch?

The Ivy Sunday Roast is served with all the trimmings. Indulge in rosemary roasted potatoes, green beans with almonds, carrot and swede mash and a Yorkshire pudding finished with a red wine gravy.

Have a stroll through the Lanes’ winding streets of independent shops before departing from Brighton Rail Station, just 10-minutes away.

Lovely place to have a date or dine with groups of friends or have celebrations be it birthdays, anniversaries etc. ..the food was great. Waiters were super friendly, nice , polite and professional. They make very good cocktails. Only thing I didn't appreciate was the vegan menu. They don't make it available like they do other menus. But they let you know that it's available. Unfortunately, I asked for it and I was told it would be brought to me but they never brought it. So has to settle for something manageable on the main menu. Also, you pay extra service charge if at all you want vegan menu. I think this should be looked into because it's a lovely restaurant.

You are definitely paying a premium price at The Ivy, but for that we received excellent and professional service and the atmosphere was very special. The lights were dimmed, there was a live singer and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was good - not exceptional, but very nice and of a high quality. In our party we tried the vegetarian curry, the salmon and the scallops linguine and everything was very good. The desserts equally so. This is not a cheap evening meal, but you are paying for the experience and the great service.

Lunch with cocktails, wonderful food, great place to eat, friendly, attentive, professional staff. Highly recommend it here. We sat outside, as it was too warm inside, but I think that's because I'm menopausal rather than anything the restaurant can do. What I saw of it, was Beautiful inside.
