4.0a month agoMy morning at The Breakfast Club in Brighton started with a bit of a puzzle. There was a line out the door—apparently, it’s all the rage because of some classic movie connection (which, confession, I haven’t seen). I bypassed the queue and found myself wondering what the fuss was about as I sat down. The food? It was alright, nothing to write home about, especially considering the price tag seemed a bit inflated. I’d just had a tastier breakfast at a little cafe around the corner, which really set the bar high. The place had a buzzing atmosphere, probably the movie magic, but for someone just after a good meal, it felt more like hype than substance. It's a decent spot if you stumble upon it without a wait, but standing in line? That’s a plot twist I'd rather skip. Curiosity brought me in, but I left still scratching my head—why is this breakfast club the talk of the town? 🤔🎉

4.0a month agoFood and drink were great. I had the ‘greasy spoon’ which is a full English breakfast & a latte. Only thing stopping this getting a 5/5 is the price. Food great, service great. Please not they only take card!

5.0a week agoWe absolutely love this place. Proper American diner vibes. Service can be a little slow when it's busy, especially as they take delivery orders too - although, to be honest, it's always busy! We like the slower service, as it gives us a chance to chill. Pink Maple Lemonade is very lush - tart, but refreshing. I regretted not having this last time, so had to this morning, and waited to have a coffee later in the day instead! I go large on brunch here - fluffy pancakes, bacon, hash browns (the tastiest!!) and halloumi, all drizzled in maple syrup. My wife went for smashed avocado, with Pico de gallo, spring onions, poached eggs, halloumi and of course, the famous Brekky Club beans.
