At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’.

Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. Choose from Roast Sirloin of Beef or Roast Chicken & Stuffing, served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires.

Hotel du Vin Brighton also serves Breakfast daily, offering a range of Breakfast classics from freshly baked pastries to Oak Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs to sweet or savoury French Toast, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Hotel du Vin Brighton is nestled in the iconic cobbled alleyways of The Lanes. Once the historic fishing village of Brighthelmstone, today The Lanes are home to designer boutiques, upmarket jewellers, and antique stores.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel du Vin in Brighton, and it was truly a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance and charm of the hotel were evident, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. The room itself was beautifully appointed, blending modern comforts with classic elegance. The highlight for me was the bathroom, which was not only stylishly designed but also offered excellent water pressure—a small detail that can make a big difference after a day of exploring the city. What truly stood out, however, was the quality of sleep I had during my stay. The mattress was absolutely top-notch, providing one of the best nights' sleep I’ve had in ages. I often struggle to sleep well in hotels, but the comfort here was exceptional—definitely a 10/10. The staff at Hotel du Vin Brighton were another standout feature. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and went out of their way to be helpful, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Additionally, the hotel's 24-hour bar, offered a great selection of drinks and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to unwind at any time of day or night. Overall, Hotel du Vin Brighton exceeded my expectations. It’s a wonderful blend of comfort, style, and attention to detail, complemented by excellent staff and amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Brighton. Highly recommended!

Although a small chain of hotels they are always impeccable. Situated on the seafront and in the trendy area of Kemptown with its shops and cafes and within walking distance of the lanes and attractions this was a great stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The decor was lovely with a nice bar area. The room was clean and cosy with a large bathroom and patio doors opening onto a little veranda. We dined in the restaurant and the food was absolutely wonderful and the waitress was so engaging and funny.

I have not used the rooms so I cannot comment. The restaurant is lovely and the food was very nice. A good choice of the standard menu or they have a specials which is what I opted for. Not cheap but worth the extra £. Good service and well run. Worth a look especially if on foot and visitimg Brighton.
