At Hotel du Vin, it’s always a food celebration in a very relaxed and easy-going setting. Now sit back, relax and enjoy a glorious Sunday Lunch your own pace. Divine.

Sunday Lunch always has an air of something special about it – whether it’s a family get-together, special celebration or simply an excuse to spoil yourself.

A British institution. Meats were traditionally roasted in front of a fire on a Sunday, dating back to the reign of King Henry VII. Since the 15th century, the royal bodyguards have been known as ‘Beefeaters’ because of their love of eating roast beef. In the 18th century the French started calling Englishmen ‘rosbifs’.

Therefore it is only fitting that ‘rosbif ’ is the centrepiece of Hotel du Vin's perfect Sunday lunch. Choose from Roast Sirloin of Beef or Roast Chicken & Stuffing, served with all the trimmings, including proper Yorkshires.

Hotel du Vin Brighton also serves Breakfast daily, offering a range of Breakfast classics from freshly baked pastries to Oak Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs to sweet or savoury French Toast, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Hotel du Vin Brighton is nestled in the iconic cobbled alleyways of The Lanes. Once the historic fishing village of Brighthelmstone, today The Lanes are home to designer boutiques, upmarket jewellers, and antique stores.

Really enjoyed my 4 nights at this hotel. It is centrally located, has a great restaurant downstairs and a bar with a cigar room on the patio. Barmen were both super friendly and even offered me a free beer for forgetting about my drink order. Hotel is very clean, in an older building and very central. Steps to the beach, the lanes and all of the major attractions. 15 minutes from the train station, which was close but not very manageable with a large suitcase :) Overall very impressed with the service and would highly recommend this hotel.

Has all the things you want - Comfortable beds, good coffee, located near the sea front and the lanes. Much prettier than the more modern looking hotels. But really the reason to book is the lovey people who work here. We needed a twin room at the last minute and they went above and beyond to make that happen. In general, everyone was friendly, had great restaurant recommendations and made it a really pleasant stay.

Beware dynamic pricing……….we were quoted and approved one price when checking in and on checkout the price had almost doubled!!!! If you try and complain you may have the unfortunate experience of the unpleasant and aggressive “manager” who does not disclose his name. Also the rooms we had were unbearably noisy with late night revellers passing by at all hours keeping us awake all night.
