3.0a month agoFirst time at this Toby Carvery, first time we've been to any for a few years. We ordered a couple of regular carveries with the wonderful staff who looked after us at our table. Upon receiving the beef from the lad who appeared to be in carving training his tutor instructed him to cut it thinner in the future. Now that lad was doing just fine, and I only just about received sufficient, if I had been the next customer behind I would not have been happy. Mash potato was awful, carrots and peas tasteless, Yorkshire pudding and green beans decent. It will be a few years again before I visit a Toby carvery.

5.0a week agoVisited 12/04/25 and it was probably the nicest breakfast from a Toby Carvery I have ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection and was hot, fresh and tasty! Excellent availability across all dishes. Restaurant was clean and the service was great. Be sure to validate your parking via the machine on entry for free parking.

5.0a month agoWe’re regulars at this Toby Carvery and it never disappoints. It’s a cozy restaurant with an even cozier little bar to go with it. The food is very good and by far the best carvery in the local area. Generous meat portions, humongous Yorkshire puddings, even allowing you have more than one on a standard plate! That’s a huge seller for me. At other carvery’s, you’ll usually get one tiny Yorkie which doesn’t touch the sides. Always fresh food, regularly topped up so that there’s plenty for all customers. The staff are friendly and great with kids. Just beware of the car parking, though. They’ve got a private car parking company keen to catch you for parking on site if you don’t put your car registration in. To be fair, the staff will always prompt you to do so. Put your reg in for free parking otherwise you’ll get a lovely parking ticket in the post. The only other minor downside to this place is the location, and I only say this because it sits in what must be the windiest and stormiest part of the Fylde Coast right on the coast! How the roof has stayed on for as long as it has is a mystery. But this is a very small downside. It’s well recommended for all families looking for a nice homely meal, particularly when there’s the 50% off mid-week vouchers… 5 stars deserved.
