I recently visited here for some food with the family for a Sunday carvery. Overall, it was a good experience. However, the portion size of the meat and the quality let itself down. It was not just the meat on my plate. It was all 7 of us that experienced this. In addition, I had an XL plate and asked for beef and lamb. I asked the server to cut a fresh piece of lamb, as the meat slice she was giving me contained cartlidge/ tendon (basically inedible) and she said no. We visited no long ago, and there wasn't an issue, so it could have been a one-off. But value for money vs. having little to no meat, I won't be returning if this happens again.

Food was fine, though often have to wait for breakfast items to be topped up. Cleanliness very poor. First mug chipped. Picked up 3 plates with encrusted food stuff on before I found a clean one. Toilets look like haven't had a proper clean in months - tiled walls dirty as are floors which don't look like they've even had a vacuum in a long time, matted cobwebs around windows. Very poor.

Went in at 5 with my lad for a quick dinner, service was fantastic and the food was amazing. My lad is really picky but enjoyed his meal. Special mention to Mitchell, welcomed us with a really warm smile, seated us quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Really impressed! It’s been a while since we used Toby, but will return again VERY soon!
