Every Thursday – Sunday between 1pm – 4pm, immerse yourself in a place doused in history and artistic finesse at Qavali with a elaborate cuisine that takes inspiration from across the Persian empire region from the mountains of Iran and Turkey, the plains of Afghanistan and the dewy fields of India and Pakistan. The food travels the same path as “Qawwali” (Sufi devotional music).

Feast on a Bottomless Brunch with dishes that draw upon years of culinary history and stories, such as Samsun Pide, Sikandari Falafel, Sultani Chaat, Charsi Chicken Tikka, Daal Bukhara and Koobideh Kebab – all while soaking up the tranquil yet lively ambience.

    Great ambiance and decent food if you take the price into consideration. We went for the bottomless brunch for two with prosecco and the starters were great. The mains were okay. The service was really good and the server was quite friendly, polite and helpful.

    Qavali is a beautifully designed restaurant with a unique interior that transports you straight to the Mediterranean. The ambiance is stunning, with intricate details that make the dining experience feel special. The food was absolutely delicious—unlike anything I’ve tasted in Birmingham. Every bite was bursting with rich aromas and flavors that left a lasting impression. The service was excellent overall, though at times, it felt like we were being watched and asked if we had finished, even though we were still enjoying our meal and conversation. Despite this, we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back!

    Can’t fault our first experience at Qavali. Rajesh was attentive and helpful. The decor is lovely and the standout dishes for me were the prawn starter and the chicken biryani - I’m not usually a biryani person but this was great. The portions are quite generous, we couldn’t finish and so we took the leftovers home!
