Visited this company for the first time in The Mailbox, after hearing good reports about it. The decor was good and well presented. It was clean and well laid out. The restaurant was very quiet, with not many clients, so lacked atmosphere. We were greeted by a gentlemen in a friendly manner. He was informed that we had booked a table and the name to which it was under. He then proceeded to ask if we had booked. Good start. We were shown to a table and given a menu to look at, the waiter then went away. We proceeded to wait some 15 minutes before our order was taken. This set the standard for the rest of the meal. The drinks and food eventually arrived. This was presentable and looked pleasing to the eye. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Tartine. The Rye toast, which by the nature of the bread is dry, however with no sauce or liquid with the topping, wasn't easy to eat. Also, with the French Toast my companion ordered, there was more toast than topping. On the whole, we were disappointed, especially for the price. When we finally received the bill, they added a service charge automatically. I have no problem with gratuities where it is appropriate, but to add one when service wasn't given is not appropriate. It then took a further 10 minutes and three members of staff to adjust the bill. Not sure I would recommend Medicine Bakery and to be honest, I will find somewhere else to eat next time.

Lovely place for a spot of brunch. They have a bakery and coffee pod and sit down area within the mailbox thoroughfare and a full restaurant near to Harvey Nics. Great range on the menu that additionally caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Kids menu available too. Full table service that was prompt but friendly. The food was great value for money. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing brunch. Both the Eggs Royale I enjoyed and the French toast my wife had were the best we'd both eaten. Zahid was super attentive and a great host. 5 stars all the way.
