We visited The Woburn Hotel on Bank Holiday Monday to celebrate a milestone birthday. When booking, we were told the table would be ours for two hours. We sat down at 1pm and began with drinks, though simple requests—such as no ice—were missed. The cutlery provided was not clean, which wasn’t a great start. A few of our group ordered the regular Fish and Chips, which turned out to be extremely greasy and more a case of "hunt the fish." One main meal arrived significantly later than the rest. Dessert orders were taken at 3pm—two hours after we were seated—and didn’t arrive until 3:50pm. Given the table was only supposed to be ours for two hours, this felt contradictory. Whether it was due to letting in too many walk-ins or something similar, I don't know—but the overall pace and organisation felt off. Individually, these issues might not have been a big deal, but together they added up. The food was average and didn’t justify the price. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be rushing back.

Just had the most wonderful meal! The food was absolutely spot on, especially the Sticky Toffee Pudding - seriously the best I've ever had! The staff were super friendly, really enhancing the whole experience, and everything was so clean and welcoming. I can't wait to return for another round of that delicious Apple & Cinnamon Crumble. A perfect lunch out, thank you!

I had a fantastic evening out recently! Even though the restaurant was buzzing, the service was top-notch, and our waitress was incredibly helpful. The food was delicious, from the marinated olives to the baked vanilla cheesecake—everything was spot on! I really appreciated how hard the team worked to keep everyone happy. Can’t wait to come back for more great food and excellent service!
