Dating back to 1776, 1 Lombard Street has been a mainstay of the area since its inception, in no small part due to the stunning breakfasts that have been fuelling London’s early birds ever since.

History is steeped into the fibre of 1 Lombard Street, the hub around which London’s answer to Wall Street gravitated. They’ve played host to many esteemed movers and shakers and it’s easy to see why. Set around the central marble bar, the restaurant unfolds underneath the huge domed skylight, breathing life into the modern surroundings.

Breakfast here includes all the classics – think full English, eggs benedict and French toast with cinnamon sugar. There’s an abundance of healthy options too, such as porridge or homemade granola with seasonal fruits and Greek yoghurt.

Every Saturday, 1 Lombard Street also hold their decadent bottomless brunch including their finest Prosecco, Beer and Aperol Spritz. Enjoy great food, with ingredients from around the British Isles and the Atlantic. Try the Devon Blue Lobster or tomatoes from the Isle of Wight with English Mozzarella from La Latteria. Or, go for Peter Hannan’s aged Steak from Glenarm Estate, topped with a Clarence Court Egg.

Nestled in the heart of London's historic Square Mile, 1 Lombard Street is ideally situated between a number of stations, with Mansion House, Cannon Street and Monument Stations all within walking distance.

We had such a good experience here! Our waiter Shervin was extremely attentive and lovely, he made our first dinner back from our honeymoon very enjoyable! The cocktails were delicious, we had old fashioneds and spicy margaritas For snacks we had the sourdough bread and cod fritters which were very good, highly recommend if you enjoy fish! For mains we went for the smash burgers which were very tasty, a very good value for money! My husband and I recommend coming here for a lovely ambience and great service. 10/10 across the board!

Popped in for a Sunday Lunch. Took advantage of the £50 per person including drink. We had a great time, the beef roast dinner with all the trimmings was excellent. The house wine that was included with the meal was very nice and certainly not your usual house wine .The white wine was a French Chenin and the red was a French Grenache. The service was fantastic, our waiter Shervin couldn't have done any more. Thanks for making our lunch great. Nice setting, great service with delicious food and drink We will return
