Bellanger

Opened in 2025, Bellanger mixes red leather banquettes, dark wood panelling and hung artwork with a compact cocktail bar, keeping the look close to a classic French brasserie. 

The Weekend Brunch menu keeps to familiar brasserie plates with a few house touches. From the eggs section: Eggs Benedict, Eggs Royale and Eggs Florentine (v); Eggs Basquaise with chorizo, tomato and red pepper ragoût; Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs on toasted sourdough. There are Croques (Monsieur, Madame, Provençal (v)), Crêpes (a classic Crêpe (v) with banana, whipped cream and chocolate sauce, plus Crêpe Complète with ham, cheese and a fried egg), and Potato Rösti either with a fried duck egg or with smoked salmon and dill cream cheese. If you want something larger, the menu runs to Chicken Schnitzel (with lingonberry compote or jus parisienne), Mauro’s Aubergine Gratin (v), Bellanger Cheeseburger & Frites, Crab Linguine, Steak Frites, Confit de Canard, and fish options such as Pan-roasted Cod à la Provençale or Pan-seared Sea Bream. Pâtisserie includes Tarte au Citron Meringuée, Crème Brûlée and Bellanger Tarte Tatin. Service is à la carte.

The bar's Drinks menu follows the house apéritif style with a short list of named classics. Examples include Pear (vodka, elderflower, apple, crémant), Grapefruit & Bergamot, Lavender & Honey, Rosemary & Ginger, plus zero-proof choices and a wine list focused on French regions.

Angel (Northern line) is the closest Underground station, about ten minutes on foot.
