Review of the Restaurant (Visited on Christmas Eve): The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff, setting a welcoming tone for the evening. The service was exceptional, with dishes being brought out simultaneously for everyone at the table. Courses were well-timed, allowing us to enjoy each one at a relaxed pace. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes to cater to different tastes, and the dessert menu was equally diverse, providing plenty of options to choose from. A thoughtful touch was the Christmas crackers provided for each guest, adding to the festive spirit. I also appreciated the thick fabric handkerchiefs provided for our laps, which added a touch of elegance. As for the food, it was outstanding. Each dish was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were just right—generous without being overwhelming. The overall quality and attention to detail made the meal thoroughly enjoyable. While the prices are relatively high compared to other restaurants in Aberdeen, this is understandable given the high-end experience offered. If you’re looking for a premium dining experience, this restaurant is worth it. I would definitely return, as the food and overall experience were truly delightful. The restroom was clean, neatly maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a pleasant and comfortable space to use.

I stayed in a club room, which was spacious, but the lighting was quite dim and could use improvement. The room itself would benefit from some renovation and a bit of TLC. The parking area at the rear was poorly marked, and finding a space was a bit of a challenge, though there was plenty of street parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast was standard. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but it would really benefit from a refresh in the rooms.

Lovely stay mid November to visit friends who live locally. Room was spacious and well set out. Food was delicious in the attached restaurant. Amanda on reception was polite, professional and a fantastic welcome was received with any interaction with her. Get through the professional façade however and she's a lovely, warm, funny woman. Fantastic representative of the company and someone I would happily work with on a daily basis. Overall, our stay was perfect for our first ever stay in a Malmaison and we will look forward to returning in the future.
